Lambert Hofer stands for tradition, experience and flexibility.

Approximately 50 employees work on fulfilling the various wishes and demands of our customers with the highest technical expertise. We work with the most precious fabrics from all over the world and produce historically accurate costumes as well as uniforms in our large workshops. If required, the employees of Lambert Hofer, packed with costumes, will even meet with you outside of Austria to fulfill your fitting desires on location.

The specialists of Lambert Hofer guarantee detailed realization of the client’s concepts. To be as authentic as possible, our tailors are still working with original sewing patterns from past centuries.

Oscar-winning costume designer James Acheson had the costumes for his production of “Figaro’s Wedding” at the Viennese State Opera produced by Lambert Hofer.

Following the New Year’s Concert of 1998, star designer Christian Lacroix had the costumes for the New Year’s Concert of 2000 also fabricated in the workshops of Lambert Hofer.

There is no headpiece, which cannot be done by Lambert Hofer. Technical know-how, precision and patience are required for the milliner’s occupation.

Lambert Hofer’s specialists can fulfill any of our client’s needs from the most unusual hats to classical top hats and extravagant Ascot-hats.

PRODUCTION FACILITIES

The enormous size of the office building of Lambert Hofer allows us to offer several rooms to production teams for administering their projects.
For producers and directors we provide TV- and video equipment as well as telefax and telephone. International productions appreciate the possibility to attend costume fittings with their costume designers and make-up artists in separate, quiet rooms.

If required, costume designers are welcome to visit the considerable library of Lambert Hofer to check for questions in style and detail.

The coordination up to the finalization and transport of the costumes to destinations all over the world is handled by the team of Lambert Hofer.
